KECO Membrane Technology
Our proprietary gas-permeable membrane technology enables accurate dissolved gas measurements in liquid samples — without sample conditioning.
Overview
KECO's proprietary membrane technology is the foundation of our liquid analyzer platform. A gas-permeable, liquid-impermeable membrane separates dissolved gases (H₂S, CO₂, O₂) from the liquid sample, allowing them to migrate to the sensor side for accurate measurement. This eliminates the need for complex sample conditioning, chemical reagents, or extraction equipment — dramatically reducing maintenance and operating costs.
Key Technical Points
- ✓Gas-permeable, liquid-impermeable membrane separates dissolved gases from the liquid stream
- ✓No sample conditioning, chemical reagents, or extraction equipment required
- ✓Measures dissolved H₂S, CO₂, O₂, and hydrocarbons directly in crude oil and water
- ✓Continuous, real-time measurement — no batch sampling or laboratory wait times
- ✓Membrane life measured in years, not weeks — dramatically reducing maintenance costs
- ✓Works with crude oil, produced water, process water, and other industrial liquids
Benefits
- ◆Eliminates complex sample conditioning systems
- ◆No reagents or consumables for membrane operation
- ◆Real-time measurement vs. delayed lab results
- ◆Minimal operator training required
- ◆Dramatically lower total cost of ownership vs. traditional methods
